As technology continues to evolve, power designers' demands for power density and efficiency are increasing, leading to the application of wide-gap power semiconductors beyond the data center to test and measurement, energy storage systems (ESS), and consumer electronics. In response to this trend, system and power designers need to adopt new design methods to achieve small size, high power density, improve device efficiency and reduce system costs, such as the introduction of new gallium nitride (GaN) power components.
